The Unflorentine: Cuba Rhum Venchi

Cuba Rhum Venchi is a cunese (sometimes spelled out as cuneese), a rum filled chocolate, traditionally made in the Cuneo area (Piedmont). Venchi chocolate factory is located in Castelletto Stura, a village in the Cunese province.

Cuba Rhum Venchi’s velvety, creamy center has the texture of a chocolate truffle and is coated thickly in crisp dark chocolate. I like to serve cunesi with some Alta Langa spumante rosato, an outstanding Piedmont rosé spumante.

Il Cuba Rhum Venchi è un cunese tradizionale, ovvero un cioccolatino fondente ripieno di rum. Il cunese Venchi ha un cuore cremoso e un guscio di strepitoso cioccolato fondente, intenso e croccante. A me piace servire questi cioccolatini con dello spumante rosato Alta Langa.
